Mission Statement

- To create an exciting English atmosphere

- To allow children the chance to interact

with foreign teachers and learn English

in a very natural way.

- To make English fun.

Teaching with M.E.F. in China

Our teachers are known for bringing energy, quality and smiles inside the kindergarten classrooms. Kindergarten English is about getting out of your comfort zone, laughing, smiling and enjoying yourself and reading your audience to make sure they are doing the same.

M.E.F. offers positions with partners in different cities. Each city has a Chinese partner organization that is licensed to represent M.E.F.. We work closely with each partner in each city. M.E.F. handles the training, curriculum, resources, updates, and is a key help in making sure all of our teachers can have a comfortable, fun experience in China.

The salaries and incentives are very similar for each city.

In the ESL Teaching industry you will find that the salary and benefits will depend on which city you live in. The major cities tend to pay more. What we do at M.E.F. is offer all of our teachers a higher salary similar to what you could in the larger cities. This means that it is definitely enough to live comfortably in the larger cities and also to be able to pamper yourself in the 2nd tier cities as well.

The following information will first let you know what our contracts looks like, many points on living in China, and also the different cities that we hire for. Our biggest hiring time is for September, but we also do some hiring for new positions throughout the year. Please check with M.E.F. for current availabilities.

Please look through the following:

• Position Details

  • Up to 30 teaching hours/week
  • 5 days per week
  • Minimum 2 weeks paid vacation during Chinese Spring Festival, four days paid vacation in October, two weeks unpaid summer vacation, and all other Chinese official holidays, outside of those weeks, paid off. Generally teachers get more vacation time than this, but this is the minimum that should be expected.

Mainly teaching inside kindergartens.

We are looking for high-energy, positive, popular, genuinely happy teachers. Teachers that can genuinely enjoy what they do and that the children will be excited to see.

The position is high energy and the atmosphere is warm, with teachers usually having a celebrity like status inside kindergartens (and China).
