Gyms, Dance and Yoga in China

This is area specific but yes these things are definitely available in China especially in the larger cities.
Many of the gyms have program like dance and yoga, and in the bigger cities you can find more specific clubs like Salsa or Tango clubs and lessons.

Just let people know what you are interested in and with a little help you will be able to find such places.

They are also a great way to make friends and get into the culture.
There may be a language barrier at the beginning, but once you get through that it will create wonderful memories that you will remember for many years to come.

Price is really going to depend. For example when asking about prices for gyms I have been surprised how cheap some are and then surprised how expensive some are. There is often also different packages and prices depending on how many months you pay for in advance, or if there is a swimming pool included etc.

    Martial Arts in China

Martial arts is more lacking than originally thought. Maybe I grew up thinking that Kungfu was commonly practiced, but in reality I didn’t find much Kungfu in the cities and I saw more children wearing Taekwando uniforms (which wasn’t that common either).  I did find a cool program for kids living and training in the Shaolin temple though and visited a temple in Foshan where Ip Man trained before he went to Hong Kong (when the communist party took control), but didn’t find many lessons for adults to train in the different China main cities or smaller cities for that matter.
